It was created by Stanley Burroughs back in 1941, but continues to be used on many people. Recent use by celebrities such as Beyoncé has made it become widely talked about.

The lemonade diet detox is also sometimes called the Master Cleanse. It is a simple program to follow. You will need to follow the program for a minimum of 10 days during which time you will be drinking a lemon and maple syrup drink. You will not be eating during this time. Here are the things that you will need to make the lemonade diet drink:

2 tablespoons of lemon juice (fresh from a lemon)
2 tablespoons of genuine maple syrup
1/10 of the teaspoon of cayenne pepper
8oz water

You should combine lemon juice, maple syrup and cayenne pepper with the water in a jar with a lid. Shake it up and then pour it into a glass and drink it.
